Visit the Parc Samà Only five kilometers from Cambrils, towards Montbrió, we will find the Parc Samà, an historic, botanical and zoological park of the Costa Dorada. It is a breathtaking historic garden classified as a Cultural Asset of National Interest. If you are animal lovers you can also see exotic birds such as the macaws, deer, turkeys and pheasants chasing each other around the waterfall. It will be mesmerising for all. The park also has an Indian labyrinth, one hectare in size, and a visit to the wine cellar museum , vermouth and oil. The 14 hectares of the park hold important historical memories and treasure a first class natural, scenic and cultural heritage. Samà Park is part of the European Network of Historical Gardens and the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe for being a prime example of the romantic and modernist gardening unique worldwide. With no need for qualifications and guided by professional instructors, you will breathe underwater and enjoy our seabed in the safest and most fun way. The diving baptism is a first experience that, in just a couple of hours, will make you fall in love with diving as we did. Accompanied by an instructor, participants will dive into the sea to a maximum depth of 4 metres.
The Torre del Port (Port Tower), located in the maritime neighbourhood, has become an icon in our fishing village since the arrival of tourists to Cambrils. As high as a lookout tower over the coast in the seventeenth century, the building is listed as a Cultural Asset of National Interest and is open to the public, as well as on occasions the possibility to enjoy a visit to one of the seasonal exhibitions that are held. Cambrils boasts a fishing port where every afternoon as from 16:30 h, except May and June in which there is the biological rest, you can take in one of the most espectacular images: the arrival of the boats into the fishing harbour followed by hundreds of seagulls.
The Roman Villa of La Llosa is a site open to the public where the preserved remains of a villa are shown in the immediate surroundings of Tarraco, inhabited between the 1st and 6th centuries AD. The building is classified as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest. On site, a virtual guide has been installed through the IMAGEEN application, which makes it possible to enjoy a virtual reconstruction there and then.
