Beaches with Blue Flag in Cambrils

Description

The Blue Flag awards are granted by an international panel from the FEE (European Foundation for Environmental Education), with the collaboration of the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education. This award, recognised internationally, values ​​and rewards environmental management and safety, facilities ,top quality services and information and environmental education. It also requires excellent water conditions from the beaches. The Tourist Board of the Provincial Council of Tarragona collaborates with the Tourism Board of Cambrils to help maintain this award year after year.

The beaches that receive the distinctive Blue Flag year after year are:

• The La Llosa Beach
• The Prat d’En Forés – Regueral Beach
• The Cavet Beach
• The Vilafortuny Beah

The Blue Flag covers mainly 4 areas:

1. Quality of bathing waters
2. Information and environmental education
3. Environmental management
4. Safety, services and facilities

All of us can also collaborate in many ways, such as:

• Using bins and containers on the beach, separating glass, paper and plastic
• Using public transport, go on foot or use the bicycle
• Respecting safety instructions and codes of conduct on the beach and its surroundings
• Enjoying the nature on the beach and treating its surroundings with respect
• Restricting the use of water and electricity during your stay
