Suleyman I the Magnificent wants to launch an attack along the Costa Daurada and has commissioned his corsairs to attack different villages. Its inhabitants have been alerted and are preparing to sabotage the Barbary corsairs to prevent the assaults. A group of them have infiltrated each camp and have less than an hour to steal the privateer’s license plate and the bag with the crew’s salaries. Additionally, they can steal the map with the location of the pirate treasure, only the fastest and bravest will be able to avoid the assault and get rich! We invite you to take part in a fun and original clue-based game to enjoy and rediscover Cambrils in a very entertaining way. No guide is needed — you can play any day, at any time, with friends or family, and it’s especially designed for children. Inspired by the relationship between the townspeople and the fishermen of Cambrils, the story begins when a child accidentally opens an old, forgotten chest in Cambrils and finds a letter inside explaining that their ancestors once stole a treasure from some pirates. If you want to find out whether the story of the treasure is true, you’ll have to follow the clues and solve the riddles. Once you’ve scanned the code, you can choose your language and start playing — take as much time as you like! At the end, come by the Tourist Office to collect your prize. So, are you ready to go on the hunt for the hidden treasure?
The Torre del Port (Port Tower), located in the maritime neighbourhood, has become an icon in our fishing village since the arrival of tourists to Cambrils. As high as a lookout tower over the coast in the seventeenth century, the building is listed as a Cultural Asset of National Interest and is open to the public, as well as on occasions the possibility to enjoy a visit to one of the seasonal exhibitions that are held. Cambrils boasts a fishing port where every afternoon as from 16:30 h, except May and June in which there is the biological rest, you can take in one of the most espectacular images: the arrival of the boats into the fishing harbour followed by hundreds of seagulls.
The Roman Villa of La Llosa is a site open to the public where the preserved remains of a villa are shown in the immediate surroundings of Tarraco, inhabited between the 1st and 6th centuries AD. The building is classified as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest. On site, a virtual guide has been installed through the IMAGEEN application, which makes it possible to enjoy a virtual reconstruction there and then.
